David Dalton

Chair of Governors and the Education/Curriculum Governor

David Dalton is our Chair of Governors

David has over 20 years experience working in SEN education, particularly in post 16 provision.

 David aims to visit school regularly to ensure that the school are supported with any educational needs/queries and ensure that the curriculum provision is suitable for all students.

He will be supporting Llewellyn school with their post 16 provision as pupils progress.

Gary has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

He is a Director / Mortgage Advisor and has his own company.  He has a wealth of experience in his professional career and is a keen supporter of Louie’s Helping Hands and The Llewellyn School.

Gary is very proactive in fundraising for The Llewellyn School.

Jann Gilliland

Health & Safety / Safeguarding Governor

During her working career, Jann has held posts as a teacher in a large secondary school, as a psychiatric nurse-manager within the NHS. She has completed a number of multi-agency safeguarding courses, and facilitated training.

Jann holds specific responsibility for Safeguarding within Llewellyn School. She also provides input into Health and Safety at the school and, support in the completion of Risk Assessments and the At-Risk Register.

Jann believes that Safeguarding is everybody’s business and that working together as a team, with appropriate training and knowledge, will ensure that the school’s shared Safeguarding Principles, its lawful obligations and its strategic aims are met.

Jann aims to visit the Llewellyn School regularly to audit Safeguarding arrangements in line with Ofsted and ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ requirements and work together with the Senior Leadership team and Governing Body to ensure this is met.

Michelle has a background as a personal assistant and in administration skills and is an asset to the school in helping to maintain attention to detail.

She works alongside school ensuring that that access to the community is provided and helps to ensure links with the community.

Michelle also deals with any formal complaints, ensuring that they are dealt with in the right manner and time frame.

Tracey Alleeson

Staff Wellbeing & Internal Grievance Governor

Tracey is currently a trainee teacher at the Llewellyn School, specialising in MSI and BSL.

She is also currently attaining her level 2 BSL award.

Tracey is a highly respected member of the Llewellyn team, and promotes/encourages staff wellbeing in the workplace including dealing with any inhouse grievances.

Tania is the Business Manager for Llewellyn School.

Tania has been part of The Llewellyn School since the beginning – and is extremely passionate about ensuring that pupils are getting access to all provisions they need.

She ensures that all members of the governing body are kept informed of all updates as required.
